Ruaridh Nicoll

Ruaridh Nicoll was the Observer’s Washington correspondent until he decided to take time out to write White Male Heart, a brutal novel about friendship, set in the Scottish Highlands. White Male Heart is a dazzling debut and has been compared to Golding’s Lord of the Flies and Iain Banks’ The Wasp Factory. His second novel, Wide Eyed, was published in 2003.
