Her books have been translated into over 30 languages and regularly top the bestseller charts across the world.
Her novel, The Ice Cream Girls, was adapted as a major television series.
Dorothy has won many awards and prizes, and was recognised as one of our 100 most influential people of African or African Caribbean heritage when she was included in the 2021 edition of the annual Powerlist.
