Tracy Darnton
Tracy Darnton is an award-winning author of three YA psychological thrillers Ready or Not, The Rules and The Truth About Lies which was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and was a World Book Night title. They are published by Little Tiger Press.
Her first picture book My Brother is An Avocado came out with Simon & Schuster in 2023 with a second, My Sister Is A Treasure, due to be published in 2025.
Tracy originally studied law at Cambridge and is a former solicitor and senior law lecturer with a PGCE. Tracy has an MA with Distinction in Writing for Young People. She’s based near Bath and has appeared at various festivals including CrimeFest, Iceland Noir, Comic Con and Bath Festival.
